Two adults, one recovery map
Why Integrinet asks for two household adults at the closing briefing — and what happens when only one person knows the drawer layout.
Cold storage fails socially as often as it fails technically. One partner travels; the other cannot find the metal plate. An adult child inherits a device and a stack of unmarked envelopes.
The briefing we run
At the end of a family cold-storage inventory setup, we ask two adults to locate each listed item using only the recovery map. If either person hesitates at a drawer or safe combination reminder, we pause and rewrite the location note until both can succeed.
Mild friction is useful
Households sometimes resist involving a second person. That hesitation usually signals that knowledge is concentrated. Spreading location knowledge is not the same as sharing seed phrases aloud — and we never ask anyone to recite recovery words during the briefing.
When a second adult is abroad
We mark off-site holders clearly on the map and schedule a video walkthrough later so the distant person can confirm they still hold their sealed packet. The Seoul visit still needs one physically present partner who can open local storage.
