Extended note — three wallets, one overlooked envelope
A couple in Yeoksam-dong booked the flagship inventory after buying a third cold wallet. During the scope lock we listed two devices and one sealed metal plate. Midway through the backup alignment, a relative mentioned a paper envelope “in the piano bench.” That envelope held a partial recovery list for the oldest wallet — twelve of twenty-four words, written years earlier and abandoned.
We paused the session, marked the envelope as incomplete on the inventory, and asked the household to decide whether to finish rewriting that backup or retire the device after moving funds themselves on another day. Integrinet did not move funds. The couple chose to complete a fresh paper backup under observation, destroy the incomplete sheet, and place the new sealed copy in a home safe already used for passports.
The recovery map now lists three devices, three verified backups, and one retired incomplete sheet destroyed on record. The visit ran about forty minutes longer than the estimate; that overage was discussed before continuing.
