Family cold-storage inventory setup
A structured home visit that catalogues every offline wallet in the household, labels devices, and builds a shared recovery map the whole family can follow.
Schedule this visitWho this is for
Households in and around Seoul that hold two or more hardware or offline wallets — often shared across partners, adult children, or a parent managing long-term savings. You want a single inventory everyone trusts, without leaving seed material in email or cloud notes.
What you receive
- A written inventory of every cold-storage device we are shown: model, approximate acquisition period, intended purpose, and physical location in the home.
- Consistent labelling agreed with the household (device nicknames only — never seed phrases on labels).
- A paper recovery map listing which backup belongs to which device and where that backup is stored.
- A short verbal walkthrough so at least two adults can locate devices and backups without calling us again.
What we do not do
- We do not store, photograph, or copy seed phrases.
- We do not move funds, install trading apps, or recommend investments.
- We do not open sealed metal backups unless you request it and remain present for every step.
How the visit runs
- Prep call (15–20 minutes) — confirm wallet count, who will attend, and a quiet workspace.
- Arrival & scope lock — we list devices on the table before any envelope is opened.
- Inventory pass — each offline wallet is examined powered off first, then powered only if needed to confirm it still responds.
- Backup alignment — paper or metal backups are matched to devices by index and checksum practices you already use; gaps are noted in plain language.
- Household briefing — we leave the inventory sheet and recovery map with you; nothing leaves the room digitally.
Preparation
Clear a table. Gather every hardware wallet, unused spare device, and known paper or metal backup. Decide which two adults will hold the master copy of the recovery map. If a relative abroad holds a sealed backup, tell us before the visit so we can mark it as “off-site, unverified.”
Constraints
Visits are by appointment, typically weekdays and selected Saturday mornings. We work within Seoul and nearby cities by arrangement. Sessions pause if anyone outside the agreed attendees enters the room while backups are open.
Next step
Request a household visit and mention how many offline wallets you expect to put on the table. We reply within two business days with a proposed window and a prep checklist.
